What the reporting says
Pathum Nissanka is ruled out of the Test series in Pakistan, still recovering from injury.
Lahiru Udara replaces Nissanka for the two-Test series starting in Rawalpindi on 9 November.
Udara's career-best 188 came in the WTC series against West Indies earlier in 2026.
The same injury kept Nissanka out of Sri Lanka's recent T20I series and ODI tri-series in Pakistan.
Pakistan made two changes, bringing in Maaz Sadaqat and Naseem Shah for Saim Ayub and Razaullah.
Naseem Shah is fit again after sitting out the previous match with a dislocated finger.
