Two decades of Sri Lanka–England T20 memories

The three-match T20I series involving Sri Lanka, who are on a tour of England, is scheduled to begin tomorrow (15).

Charith Asalanka will captain Sri Lanka against England for the first time in this series, while middle-order batter Harry Brook is set to lead England.

: September 15 (night), at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.

2nd T20I

: September 17 (night), at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

3rd T20I

: September 19, at Old Trafford in Manchester.

This will be the 8th bilateral T20I series between Sri Lanka and England in a rivalry spanning 2 decades. Across the 7 series played so far, Sri Lanka and England have each recorded 3 series wins. However, England have won all of the last three series.
