Sri Lanka CricketNews article
Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka has been ruled out of the two-match Test series against Pakistan as he has not yet fully recovered from a left hamstring injury.
The cricket selection committee has moved to call up Lahiru Udara to the Sri Lanka Test squad in place of Nissanka. As Lahiru Udara is already in Pakistan as a member of the Sri Lanka ODI side, he is available to join the Test squad.
Because of his injury, Nissanka also missed the Twenty20 series against Pakistan as well as the ongoing tri-nation ODI series.
The Test series between the two countries begins on November 09, while the second Test will be played on November 17.
